Bar and Restaurant Manager – 5‑Star Hotel

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Bar and Restaurant Manager to lead the food‑and‑beverage operations at our new 5‑star Iberostar Selection Zanzibar hotel. You will plan, organize and supervise all bar and dining activities, ensuring that service standards meet the luxury expectations of our guests.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all bar and dining outlets to guarantee premium guest service quality.
• Provide hands‑on support to the service team during peak periods.
• Analyze guest survey results and develop continuous‑improvement plans.
• Maintain proper inventory of beverages and equipment and ensure outlet sanitation.
• Address guest inquiries, suggestions and complaints to achieve full satisfaction.
• Schedule, supervise and control group events such as weddings and corporate functions.
• Collaborate with the Hotel Director on budget preparation and annual department financial management.
• Recruit, train, evaluate and dimension staff according to occupancy, managing shifts, leaves and vacations.

Required profile

• Relevant education for the position.
• Minimum two years of experience in a similar bar or restaurant management role.
• English proficiency at B2 level (additional languages are a plus).
