Training Officer – Central Zone

About the role

PalmPay is looking for a proactive Training Officer for its Central Zone. You will empower dealers, sales agents and collection teams through practical, engaging training that drives sales performance, customer onboarding quality and repayment discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver interactive training sessions (in‑person, online or blended) for new and existing agents.
• Run Train‑the‑Trainer programmes to build internal training capacity.
• Facilitate role‑play and simulation exercises for sales and collection scenarios.
• Conduct post‑training coaching, field visits and on‑the‑spot feedback.
• Coordinate all training logistics, track attendance and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with the Training Manager on monthly calendars, content rollout and onboarding induction.
• Gather feedback, monitor performance indicators and prepare training performance reports.
• Identify skill gaps and propose new training interventions, including localisation of materials.

Required profile

• Results‑driven with strong facilitation and coaching abilities.
• Experience delivering training to field and online audiences.
• Ability to adapt delivery methods to diverse participant needs.
• Excellent observation skills to provide actionable feedback.
