Regional Inventory Controller

About the role

The Regional Inventory Controller is responsible for end‑to‑end stock integrity at Jaza Energy’s regional fulfillment centre in Tanzania. You will ensure that all inventory movements are accurately recorded, auditable, and aligned with finance and supply‑chain requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain stock accuracy above 98 % across all product categories.
• Execute inbound receipt, verification of quantities, serial numbers and condition against approved purchase orders.
• Manage outbound dispatch and reverse‑logistics processes with full traceability.
• Enforce transaction discipline using the Inventory Management System (IMS) and ensure all movements are system‑led.
• Run cycle‑count programmes without gaps and keep audit documentation up to date.
• Coordinate landed‑cost capture and share data with Finance for reconciliation.
• Maintain warehouse zoning, prevent mixed inventory locations, and ensure real‑time alignment between IMS records, physical stock, and QuickBooks Online valuation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory control or supply‑chain operations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce strict process discipline.
• Experience handling inbound, outbound and reverse‑logistics flows.
• Familiarity with audit readiness and documentation standards.

Required skills

• Inventory Management System (IMS) usage.
• QuickBooks Online (QBO) for inventory valuation.
• Serial number tracking and three‑way match validation.
