Freelance Sunflower Oil Sourcing & Export Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Sunflower Oil Sourcing & Export Coordinator to act as our local representative in Tanzania. You will manage the end‑to‑end sourcing and export process for sunflower oil destined for the European market, working autonomously on the ground.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate with sunflower oil factories and suppliers in Tanzania.
• Obtain daily pricing, secure the best export terms for Europe, and maintain regular price updates.
• Represent the company in meetings and negotiations with suppliers and partners.
• Coordinate the full export workflow from factory to container shipment, including loading supervision.
• Prepare and verify export documentation, quality‑control procedures, and compliance with shipment regulations.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transport companies, and port operators to ensure smooth logistics.
• Provide continuous communication, reporting, and relationship building with reliable industrial partners.

Required profile

• Currently based in Tanzania, preferably familiar with the Dodoma region.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
• Experience in edible oils, commodities, export operations or international trade.
• Strong negotiation abilities and field‑operations mindset.
• Ability to work independently with full autonomy.
• Good understanding of export logistics and documentation processes.
