Partnership Facilitator III

About the role

The Partnership Facilitator III serves as Compassion’s primary liaison to local churches, strengthening their ownership, capacity and resources to minister to children and youth. Working independently or as part of a team, the facilitator builds trusting relationships with pastors, denominational leaders and church staff to advance child protection and youth development outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with church partners and denominational leaders, grounded in mutual respect and shared mission.
• Manage partner relationships through Compassion’s Partner Management core process, tracking progress and outcomes.
• Facilitate church maturation by encouraging a developmental mindset and supporting capacity‑building initiatives.
• Lead the co‑creation and implementation of church‑owned strategies that engage parents, caregivers, children and youth in program design, resource mobilization and decision‑making.
• Identify and support change‑makers within the community—such as schools, peers and families—to promote child development and protection.
• Coach and oversee junior facilitators, providing guidance on complex or international projects.

Required profile

• Personal commitment to Christian faith and a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
• Strong advocacy for child protection, adhering to Compassion’s Code of Conduct and reporting procedures.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple partnerships and coach team members.
• Experience in partnership development, capacity building, or faith‑based ministry.
