About the role
We are seeking an experienced Head Chef to lead our kitchen team, oversee daily operations, and elevate our culinary offering. The successful candidate will be responsible for menu creation, staff management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations and food preparation activities.
- Develop innovative menus and introduce new dishes.
- Supervise, train, and schedule kitchen staff.
- Ensure consistent food quality, presentation, and portion control.
- Monitor food costs, wastage, and maintain accurate inventory.
- Enforce health, safety, and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all kitchen areas.
- Coordinate with procurement on food supplies and stock levels.
- Handle customer feedback related to food quality.
- Oversee proper storage and handling of food products.
Required profile
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Senior Chef.
- Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Creative mindset for menu planning and food presentation.
