About the role

The External Sales Representative will work on the ground to attract customers to Lapaire’s optical branch in Buguruni, Dar‑es‑Salaam. This entry‑level, field‑focused position is ideal for candidates starting their career who are eager to learn about sales, community engagement, and eye‑care services.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Lapaire’s free eye tests and affordable glasses within the assigned catchment area.
• Distribute flyers and engage directly with community members to drive foot traffic to the branch.
• Educate potential customers on the benefits of Lapaire’s products and services.
• Represent the brand with professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets set by the supervisor.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support branch objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good knowledge of the local area, language, and culture.
• Energetic, confident, and able to work long hours outdoors.
• Resilient to rejection and motivated to exceed targets.
