About the role
WILCAH, a youth‑led nonprofit in Tanzania, is seeking experienced professionals to join its Board of Advisors. Advisors will provide strategic guidance to advance mental health and wellbeing programs for young people across the country.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to high‑level decision‑making and strategic planning.
- Advise on program design, implementation, and evaluation.
- Identify and pursue funding opportunities and partnerships.
- Offer sector‑specific insights from your professional background.
- Support network building with stakeholders, donors, and policymakers.
- Participate in quarterly meetings (4–6 hours per quarter) in Dar es Salaam or virtually.
Required profile
- At least 15 years of experience in your field (public health, mental health, law, finance, policy, communications, corporate leadership, or data systems).
- Strong analytical and research abilities for data‑driven decisions.
- Understanding of nonprofit and health‑related sectors is advantageous.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to commit 4–6 hours per quarter and attend meetings.
