Aviation Sales Manager

About the role

The Aviation Sales Manager will lead the sales performance of our aviation fuel business, ensuring profitable growth while upholding the highest health, safety, security and environmental standards. You will be responsible for executing sales offers, managing key accounts and driving commercial strategy across the aviation clientele channel.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets including sales volume, margin, DSO and return on assets.
• Qualify and pursue sales opportunities, conduct account planning and manage key accounts.
• Forecast sales, manage budgets, coordinate marketing events and maintain CRM data.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to create value propositions and commercial messages.
• Recruit, onboard and develop sales talent, fostering a high‑performance sales climate.
• Provide input for annual budgeting, monitor pricing, rebates, discounts and gross margin per customer.
• Handle customer credit, perform reconciliations and ensure service delivery.
• Conduct variance analysis, business reviews and corrective actions.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, new business models and promotional activities.
• Collect market intelligence, monitor competitor actions and pricing trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in aviation fuel sales or a related commercial sales function.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to manage budgets, forecasts and margin performance.
• Excellent customer relationship management and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead and develop a sales team, driving results and coaching performance.
• Commitment to HSEQ compliance and risk mitigation.
