Presales Associate

About the role

The Presales Associate will join a leading provider of smart IT infrastructure, system integration and digital transformation solutions in Dar es Salaam. Working closely with sales and technical teams, the role supports solution design, proposal preparation and tender coordination to help clients adopt technology that drives business success.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and analyse client requirements to develop suitable ICT and system integration solutions.
• Prepare proposals, quotations, cost estimates and tender documentation for technology projects.
• Coordinate and submit responses to RFI, RFQ and RFP processes, ensuring compliance.
• Conduct market research on industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies.
• Participate in client meetings, product demonstrations and proof‑of‑concept activities.
• Maintain accurate records of customers, opportunities and projects in CRM systems.
• Liaise with vendors, partners and internal stakeholders to collect technical and commercial information for bids.
• Provide administrative support throughout the sales cycle to ensure a smooth transition to delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Information Technology, Engineering, Business).
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales, technical and client teams.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on delivering high‑quality client experiences.
