Komori Offset Machine Operator

About the role

Imaging Smart is seeking a full‑time Komori Offset Machine Operator to work on‑site in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will be responsible for the setup, operation and upkeep of Komori offset printing presses, ensuring that all production runs meet the company’s quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain Komori offset printing machines.
• Perform regular inspections and routine maintenance of equipment.
• Coordinate production tasks and workflow with team members.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and resolve them promptly.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in operating offset printing machinery.
• Experience in quality‑control processes and maintaining high production standards.
• Knowledge of machinery maintenance and basic adjustments.
• Effective communication skills for team coordination.
• Familiarity with hand tools for basic maintenance.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability and capacity to meet tight deadlines.
• Previous experience with a Komori press or similar offset press is a strong advantage.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing machinery is a plus.
