Import Export Trade Finance & Investment Advisor – Country Manager

About the role

This freelance, part‑time, virtual remote position is for an International Trade Finance Consultant / Manager (TFM) who will act as a Country Manager. The role involves marketing SVG’s products and services, overseeing operations in a specific country, developing business strategies, ensuring regulatory compliance and driving growth.

Key responsibilities

• Market SVG’s trade‑finance and investment solutions and generate leads.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations and manage budgets in the assigned country.
• Develop and implement business strategies aligned with local market conditions.
• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulations and banking requirements.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including banks, logistics partners and exporters/importers.
• Lead and mentor a local team to achieve company objectives.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience (CEO, Founder, Director, Operations Head, Bank Manager or similar).
• Proven background in international trade, import‑export, commodity trading, logistics or related sectors.
• Familiarity with digital sales and marketing tactics that generate qualified leads.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC/DLC), Bank Guarantees (BG) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC).
• Experience with Proof of Funds (POF), Bank Comfort Letters (BCL) and SWIFT instruments (MT760, MT799, MT700).
