Assistant Manager – HT Line Coordinator & HOTO Engineer

About the role

The Assistant Manager will lead the coordination of high‑tension (HT) power line projects and manage the Handing Over & Taking Over (HOTO) process. This position ensures that installation, testing, commissioning and final acceptance of HT infrastructure meet safety, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction and erection of HT lines (11kV to 132kV or higher).
• Interpret project drawings, technical specifications and standards for HT line works.
• Monitor contractors and site teams to ensure timely, on‑budget execution.
• Plan daily/weekly activities, allocate resources and resolve on‑site technical issues.
• Conduct line route surveys and support design optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety, quality and environmental regulations.
• Maintain site documentation including inspection records, test reports and progress reports.
• Plan and execute the HOTO process after installation, coordinating with commissioning teams, clients and local utilities.
• Facilitate inspections, resolve non‑conformities, and prepare HOTO reports, snag lists and final acceptance certificates.
