Technical Sales Advisor – Tanzania & Rwanda

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Advisor to drive business growth across Tanzania and Rwanda. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining technical expertise with customer engagement to deliver tailored solutions and build long‑term relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep knowledge of the company’s products, solutions and applications.
• Provide expert technical guidance, explain product features and benefits to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their requirements and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities, conduct product demonstrations, prepare quotations and proposals, and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities and monthly reports in the CRM system.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and provide feedback to management for product improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales, customer service or a related advisory role.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated with strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
