SME Credit Analyst

About the role

As an SME Credit Analyst at NBC, you will act as the credit expert for the relationship team, ensuring strict adherence to the bank's credit and provisioning policies while delivering tailored lending solutions for small and medium‑sized enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate and recommend credit applications, preparing dossiers for sanctioners and meeting agreed SLA timelines.
• Maintain accurate filing of customer credit monitoring files, ensuring registers are up‑to‑date and records are stored appropriately.
• Monitor the performance of SME portfolios, identify deteriorating trends, propose remedial actions, and ensure timely review of facilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum of three years proven experience in credit analysis within a commercial banking environment.
• Strong knowledge of business and commercial banking products and services.
