Senior Technical Instructor & OJT Specialist (LNG)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Instructor / On-the-Job (OJT) Instructor to join our operations team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical training, including simulator-based sessions and skill development programs, to ensure our personnel operate LNG facilities with maximum safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Main Missions

• Design, customize, and deliver comprehensive internal training programs tailored to operational needs.
• Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) and perform technical competency assessments (theoretical, practical, and operational).
• Analyze skill gaps and implement individualized development plans for technical staff.
• Coordinate personnel onboarding and operational readiness processes.
• Integrate Process Safety principles and the 'Incident and Injury Free' (IIF) culture into all training modules.
• Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Projects, and L&D teams to ensure training alignment with business goals.
• Prepare detailed competency evaluation reports and track training effectiveness.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Technical Instructor or Trainer within a high-hazard industrial environment (LNG/Oil & Gas preferred).
• Strong expertise in technical competency assessment and instructional design.
• Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams (Maintenance, Projects, Operations).
• Commitment to safety excellence and a proactive approach to risk management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
