Senior Project Coordinator

About the role

The Senior Project Coordinator acts as the main liaison for internal and external stakeholders, providing comprehensive project management and high‑level administrative support to the Country Director and Country Management Team at EGPAF in Tanzania.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, review and submit donor reports and project deliverables, ensuring compliance with donor requirements.
• Coordinate sub‑grantee management, award maintenance, budget realignments and obligation tracking.
• Organise and document management meetings, maintain project documentation across Teams, SharePoint and award systems.
• Provide proactive administrative support to the Country Director, manage communications with external stakeholders and oversee filing systems.
• Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, lodging and visitor agendas, and act as liaison between country teams and management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Law, Management, Social Sciences, Public Health or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in project administration or executive support, preferably in international NGOs or health programmes.
• Fluency in English and Kiswahili (written and spoken).
• Strong understanding of Tanzania’s government and donor landscape and proven stakeholder‑engagement experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with collaborative platforms such as Teams and SharePoint.
• Excellent copy‑editing, proofreading and formatting abilities.
