Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

Nebius is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help build and scale its hyperscaling AI cloud platform. You will work on core services that power cloud infrastructure, managed databases, Kubernetes, billing, monitoring, and machine‑learning workloads. The role can be performed from any of our European offices or remotely, with a hybrid or fully remote setup.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fault‑tolerant, high‑availability cloud services.
• Implement and evolve managed database and Kubernetes offerings.
• Build billing, monitoring, and ML service components.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliability and performance at scale.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Golang or willingness to adopt it quickly.
• Proven ability to write reliable code and solve complex problems.
• Team‑oriented mindset and experience with high‑load, scalable systems is a plus.
