Security Manager (Aviation)

About the role

dnata Zanzibar is seeking an experienced Security Manager to lead and oversee all security operations at its aviation facilities. You will be responsible for implementing security policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe environment for employees and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the security department to ensure safe, cost‑effective handling of flights and security services.
• Develop and implement aviation security plans, policies, and procedures in line with ICAO and national regulations.
• Lead, train, and supervise security personnel, including scheduling and performance evaluation.
• Ensure execution of access control, screening procedures, and security patrols.
• Maintain compliance with aviation security standards and prepare reports for senior management and regulators.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in airport security operations.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ICAO and national aviation security regulations.
• Experience with security policy development and implementation.
• Leadership and team management abilities.
