Sales Manager

About the role

Mapito Safari Camp, part of the Autograph Collection, is looking for a dynamic Sales Manager to lead its commercial activities from Arusha, Tanzania. The role focuses on driving revenue, building strategic partnerships and expanding the camp’s presence in the regional and international tourism market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales growth and revenue for Mapito Safari Camp.
• Build and manage relationships with DMCs, tour operators and travel partners.
• Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into bookings.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations and sales calls.
• Negotiate rates and commercial agreements.
• Maintain and manage the sales pipeline and database strategically.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
• Represent the camp at trade events and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant sales experience in the DMC/leisure market in Arusha.
• Strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
• Target‑oriented with a strategic commercial mindset.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of the tourism and hospitality market.
• Fluent in English; Kiswahili is an added advantage.
• Self‑motivated and able to work autonomously.
