Sales Executive – Software Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an energetic Sales Executive to promote our software solutions. You will work closely with prospects to understand their business challenges and present tailored products that drive performance.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals and lead follow‑up.
• Meet prospective clients to understand their requirements and demonstrate software solutions.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships throughout the sales cycle.
• Coordinate with internal technical and implementation teams for smooth project handover.
• Assist clients during implementation, onboarding and basic user training.
• Follow up for feedback, support needs, renewals and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities and interactions in CRM systems.
• Stay updated on company products, industry trends and competitor offerings.

Required profile

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in sales, business development, customer service or software sales.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Customer‑focused mindset with strong relationship‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and eager to build a career in software sales.
• Willingness to travel locally for client meetings and demonstrations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools.
• Basic knowledge of ERP, HRMS, Payroll and Time Attendance systems.
• Competence in MS Office applications.
