Regional Clinical Services Coordinator – Ruvuma

About the role

The Regional HIV/TB Clinical Services Coordinator provides technical leadership and coordination for the implementation, quality improvement, and scale‑up of comprehensive HIV and TB services under the EpiC& AFGHS‑FHI360 projects in Tanzania. The role offers strategic and technical guidance to strengthen quality, coverage, integration and effectiveness of services across Police and Prisons as well as public health facilities in the Ruvuma region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation and quality of HTS, prevention, care, treatment, AHD, PMTCT/EID, TB, NCD integration and cervical cancer screening at supported sites.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate regional technical activities, ensuring alignment with central technical team and national guidelines.
• Provide clinical mentorship, capacity‑building, supportive supervision and continuous quality improvement through audits, data‑driven reviews and corrective actions.
• Monitor program performance against targets, analyse data, identify gaps and support district health teams in planning and reporting.
• Facilitate training, CME and joint supervision sessions with CHMTs, councils and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Medical degree with relevant national registration; Master’s in Public Health is an advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in HIV/TB clinical services, preferably in public‑health or donor‑funded programmes.
• Proven experience in program implementation, clinical mentorship, supportive supervision and quality improvement.
• Experience working with Ministry of Health, regional health teams, NGOs and implementing partners.
