Receptionist & Client Service Representative

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is for a junior Receptionist & Client Service Representative based in Dar es Salaam. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for clients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day front desk operations, including greeting visitors and handling incoming calls.
• Perform general clerical tasks such as sorting mail, maintaining visitor logs, and assisting with basic administrative duties.
• Provide prompt and courteous responses to client inquiries, directing them to the appropriate department when needed.
• Maintain a tidy and organized reception area to reflect the company’s standards.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Administration or a related field.
• Recent graduate with no more than one year of relevant experience.
• Strong phone etiquette and ability to manage front‑desk duties efficiently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with office equipment (telephone system, printer, scanner).
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
