Quantity Surveyor – Construction Projects

About the role

Our client, a leading building and civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team. You will play a key role in managing costs across residential, commercial, industrial and infrastructure projects, ensuring financial control and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for new projects.
• Monitor project expenditures and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
• Evaluate contractor and supplier quotations and recommend selections.
• Prepare interim valuations, final accounts and support contract administration.
• Conduct on‑site measurements and perform cost analysis throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide cost‑control support and financial planning assistance to project teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
• Minimum five years of quantity surveying experience within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost estimation and project budgeting.
• Registration with a professional surveying body is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with quantity surveying software.
• Advanced use of MS Office applications, especially Excel.
