Quality Health & Safety Manager

About the role

The Quality Health & Safety Manager will lead health and safety activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements, customer‑specific clauses and internal standards. You will work closely with the CT Head, CDM, project teams and the H&S MU lead to drive H&S performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own and lead project health and safety, implementing all key H&S standards.
• Define technical H&S requirements derived from the project scope.
• Support customer bids with H&S documentation and Statements of Compliance.
• Review contracts, conduct risk assessments, and maintain a project risk register.
• Prepare, circulate and obtain approval for project‑specific H&S plans.
• Deliver H&S inductions, training, and ensure PPE, medical certificates and certifications are available.
• Coordinate with suppliers, approve their H&S representatives, and manage supplier H&S documentation.
• Monitor H&S KPIs (AI PPE Lens, Crew check‑in, AI Hazard Lens) and drive automation support.
• Conduct site audits, weekly governance meetings, and produce monthly H&S dashboards.
• Report incidents, support investigations and upload all H&S documents to SharePoint.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading health and safety on complex projects.
• Strong knowledge of local legal H&S requirements and ability to ensure compliance.
• Ability to develop and approve H&S plans, conduct risk assessments and manage KPIs.
• Excellent coordination skills with internal teams, suppliers and external stakeholders.
