Quality Assurance Specialist

About the role

The Quality Assurance Specialist will lead the design and execution of NBC's QA strategy, ensuring that all technology solutions are tested rigorously, secure, reliable and compliant. This role supports core banking transformations, digital channels and integrations with internal and external systems.

Key responsibilities

• Define and enforce QA governance, testing standards and best practices across all projects.
• Lead test planning, test case design, scripting and execution for System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Oversee load, stress and performance testing to validate scalability and resilience.
• Drive early defect detection (shift‑left) and manage defect logging, tracking and root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure full traceability, documentation and audit‑ready evidence of testing activities.
• Coordinate testing activities with technology, business and governance teams to provide end‑to‑end visibility.
• Validate functional and non‑functional requirements, including security, reliability and performance, before production deployment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in QA leadership within banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of regulatory and audit requirements for technology solutions.
• Ability to provide independent oversight and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Excellent analytical skills to monitor defect trends and implement corrective actions.
