Quality Assurance Analyst

About the role

The Quality Assurance Analyst will execute comprehensive testing of banking applications to ensure they meet functional and non‑functional requirements before UAT and deployment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for functional requirements.
• Perform non‑functional testing covering performance, reliability and basic security.
• Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT) and support UAT readiness.
• Conduct end‑to‑end integration testing to validate seamless system interfaces.
• Carry out performance and load testing, and assist with stress testing when required.
• Identify, log, track and retest defects throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure timely defect resolution.
• Maintain QA standards, test artefacts, documentation and audit trails.
• Provide testing progress updates and reporting to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, coverage and automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in QA/testing.
• Experience in functional and integration testing.
• Familiarity with defect management tools.
• Exposure to performance and load testing concepts.
• Experience with banking systems is an advantage.
