Program Execution Consultant - Digital Payments

About the role

The Program Execution Consultant will be embedded in Dodoma to support the Strategic Growth Program, a cross‑market initiative aimed at accelerating credit‑card acquisition and spend activation across the bank’s African operations. You will act as the local bridge between the central program team’s strategy and day‑to‑day execution.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all program activities in Tanzania.
• Coordinate and facilitate local workshops, working sessions, and review meetings with Marketing, Cards, Risk, and Operations teams.
• Own the local activity tracker, flag risks, and escalate blockers to the central PMO with recommended solutions.
• Collect market data, provide contextual intelligence, and support stakeholder engagements to validate benchmarking findings.
• Integrate local inputs into spend‑activation campaign design, monitor performance, and report results to the PMO.
• Prepare regular status updates, field reports, and post‑campaign reviews.
• Document market insights, execution learnings, and observations for program review.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in banking or financial services.
• Background in consulting or managing multi‑workstream programs.
• Experience with credit‑card portfolio management and spend‑activation campaigns.
• Strong understanding of regional financial services and retail payments.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder relationships and translate analysis into actionable insights.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
