Product Manager – Loans, Savings & Wealth

About the role

Airtel Africa is seeking a Product Manager to lead its Loans, Savings and Wealth portfolio within Airtel Money. You will shape product strategy, drive growth, and ensure compliance across digital financial services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute product strategies and roadmaps for Loans, Savings and Wealth offerings.
• Identify customer needs, market opportunities and emerging trends in digital finance.
• Manage end‑to‑end product lifecycle: define requirements, create user stories, launch new features and monitor performance.
• Drive acquisition, activation and retention, and deliver sustainable growth in active users, loan disbursements, savings balances and revenue.
• Collaborate with technology, marketing, finance, legal and compliance teams to prioritize features and ensure seamless integration.
• Monitor portfolio quality, repayment performance and profitability; develop pricing and optimisation strategies.
• Manage relationships with banking partners, lending institutions, investment providers and other ecosystem partners.
• Ensure products comply with regulatory, AML, KYC and consumer protection guidelines and support audit and reporting processes.
