Packaging Operator

About the role

The Packaging Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining packaging equipment to ensure efficient production of beverage products. You will work on a shift basis, following the production plan and contributing to a safe, high‑quality work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Operate manual and automatic packaging machines according to standards.
• Interpret and implement the production plan for each shift.
• Monitor process quality and productivity, taking corrective actions when needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as tracking process performance and reporting.
• Manage PIMS & POMS systems and address negative trends.
• Use OFR triggers and contribute to AB reports as required.
• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 9 months of on‑the‑job training.
• Experience in the FMCG industry is an advantage.
• Understanding of VPO (Value‑Based Production Optimization) principles.

Required skills

• Operation of packaging equipment.
• Mechanical/Electrical engineering knowledge.
• FMCG production environment familiarity.
• Proficiency with PIMS & POMS systems.
• Knowledge of VPO principles.
