Operations Manager

About the role

Zanziholics Digital Agency is seeking an Operations Manager to keep its fast‑moving, multi‑business machine running smoothly. Based in Zanzibar, you will translate strategy into execution, ensuring that projects across software, hospitality and events are delivered on time and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations across several teams and concurrent projects.
• Manage project timelines, resources and delivery standards from brief to handover.
• Serve as the primary contact for key client accounts, guaranteeing clear communication and on‑time delivery.
• Build, enforce and continuously improve internal systems, workflows and reporting rhythms.
• Coordinate technical, creative and administrative teams to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Track operational performance and report progress, risks and blockers to the CEO.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management as the team expands.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management position.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced marketing, technology or startup environment.
• Ability to lead multiple teams and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Kiswahili.
• Sound judgement with the capacity to make independent decisions.
• Based in Zanzibar or willing to relocate.
