National Project Officer – Programme Support

About the role

The National Project Officer will provide high‑level programme and administrative support to the UNICEF Tanzania Country Office, focusing on donor reporting, grants management, resource mobilisation and data analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Deputy Representative's calendar, coordinate meetings and prepare minutes.
• Prepare briefing packages, donor reports, project proposals and concept notes, ensuring alignment with UNICEF branding.
• Maintain internal funding pipelines, produce dashboards and KPI reports, and apply digital/AI tools for data synthesis.
• Support grant monitoring, expiry tracking, re‑programming and fund‑utilisation reporting.
• Utilise SAP, Service Gateway, Power BI, SharePoint and other digital platforms to streamline processes and maintain document repositories.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in programme support, project management, resource mobilisation, grant management or donor reporting, preferably within the UN system or NGOs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Development Studies, International Relations, Data Science or related field.
• Fluent English.
