Marketing Manager (Retail) – Arusha

About the role

A leading player in the alcoholic beverages industry in Tanzania is recruiting an experienced Marketing Manager in Arusha, via Summit Recruitment & Search. The role develops and executes integrated marketing strategies that build strong, commercially successful and distinctive brands, driving brand growth, market competitiveness, consumer engagement and measurable returns on marketing investment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement brand strategies and annual marketing plans aligned with business growth objectives.
• Conduct market research, consumer analysis and competitor monitoring to inform decisions.
• Lead integrated marketing campaigns across digital, trade, experiential and public relations channels.
• Partner with Sales teams to improve product visibility, distribution, trade activations and market penetration.
• Manage new product development, from concept and launch planning to commercialization and performance evaluation.
• Ensure marketing activities comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards and responsible marketing practices.
• Prepare and manage marketing budgets, track campaign performance and report on ROI and KPIs.
• Lead and coach the marketing team and manage relationships with external agencies, distributors and other stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years' marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in FMCG, beverages or consumer goods.
• Proven experience delivering measurable results from marketing campaigns.
