About the role
Action Against Hunger USA is seeking a Logistics Officer to support its humanitarian programmes across multiple countries. The role ensures that procurement, transport, fleet, asset, and warehouse operations run smoothly, complying with organisational policies, donor regulations, and local laws.
Key responsibilities
- Process procurement requests in line with donor and organisational procedures, maintaining supplier records and price lists.
- Manage vehicle movement planning, tracking, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and driver coordination.
- Oversee asset tagging, register updates, physical verification, and disposal of damaged or obsolete items.
- Supervise receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring accurate stock records and warehouse safety.
- Support office maintenance, utilities, and procurement of office supplies, liaising with service providers.
- Maintain comprehensive logistics documentation and prepare monthly logistics reports.
