Legal Data Analyst – Remote

About the role

The Legal Data Analyst will turn complex legal information—such as contracts, litigation outcomes, and regulatory filings—into actionable insights that support compliance, risk management, and business strategy. Working remotely, you will collaborate with legal, compliance, and technology teams to build data‑driven solutions and AI‑enabled tools.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large legal datasets to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Translate findings into insights for legal strategy, compliance, and business decisions.
• Create and maintain high‑quality training data and prompts for large language models, evaluating model outputs for legal relevance.
• Support regulatory compliance by mapping emerging requirements to internal processes.
• Design interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Lead automation initiatives to improve legal workflow efficiency and reduce operational risk.
• Assist in data governance, including classification, retention, and quality standards for legal data assets.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in legal analysis, legal operations, compliance analytics, or data analysis within a legal environment.
• Strong ability to convert complex legal concepts into quantitative data structures.
• Proven project management skills with the capacity to handle multiple deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for querying large datasets.
• Python for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
