Investment Facilitation & Finance Analyst

About the role

The International UN Volunteer will support UNDP’s Inclusive Growth Pillar in Dar es Salaam, focusing on investment, trade and finance. Working under the Practice Specialist for Investment and Finance and the Lead of the Inclusive Growth Pillar, the analyst will help design, implement and monitor projects that strengthen the country’s investment climate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing UNDP programmes and projects related to investment and finance.
• Support effective management of the Inclusive Growth portfolio, ensuring quality control from formulation to implementation.
• Prepare project proposals and contribute to resource mobilisation efforts.
• Participate in coordination meetings and represent the Inclusive Growth activities.
• Contribute to knowledge building and share insights within relevant networks and communities of practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Trade and Investment, Finance, Business Management, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum of 24 months of relevant experience in finance, economics or administration.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong organisational and networking abilities.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office proficiency.
