Inventory & Stock Analyst

About the role

The Inventory & Stock Analyst will support the finance team in managing fuel and lubricant inventories, ensuring accurate accounting and timely reporting. This position plays a key role in reconciling stock movements, vendor accounts, and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fuel and lubricant invoices for processing by the SSC.
• Support SSC team with transaction completion and daily movement average price (MAP) calculations.
• Reconcile vendor accounts, GL entries, and product borrow/loan arrangements.
• Conduct month‑end stock taking, variance analysis, and SAP posting after management approval.
• Post fixed charges, amortize expenses, and account for local costs of imported products.
• Capture VAT on imported lubricants and manage inventory transaction accuracy.
• Generate monthly product adjustment reports and perform Class 3 GL analysis.
• Prepare and follow up on Priority Accounting Controls (CCP).
• Respond to inventory queries from external and TRA auditors.
• Review fuel reception and MI losses for SAP processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or equivalent).
• CPA or ACCA certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a finance department.
• Strong knowledge of SAP or similar accounting software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
