HR Associate – Human Resources (Service Contract)

About the role

The Human Resources Associate will deliver client‑focused HR services that support WFP’s strategic and operational needs. Based in the Dar es Salaam Country Office, the role contributes to both day‑to‑day HR delivery and longer‑term initiatives such as HR analytics, employee engagement and wellness.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for HR guidance within the Country Office, ensuring timely and accurate advice.
• Provide technical support to managers and staff on the interpretation and application of WFP HR rules and entitlements.
• Support the implementation of HR analytics, employee engagement and wellness programmes.
• Collaborate with the Head of HR and other HR team members to align services with organisational policies.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to deliver HR advisory and client support services.
• Familiarity with WFP HR policies, procedures and entitlement frameworks.
• Strong communication skills in a multicultural environment.
