Heavy Tractor Operator

About the role

Q-Sourcing Tanzania Limited, a manpower management firm operating across Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and South Sudan, is recruiting on behalf of its Tanzanian client for a competent and experienced Heavy Tractor Operator in Morogoro. The operator runs heavy agricultural and industrial tractors for land preparation, ripping, pulling implements and general farm or site work. The position reports to the Workshop Supervisor or Workshop Manager and is open to locals only.

Key responsibilities

• Operate heavy tractors for ploughing, ripping, harrowing and other land-preparation activities.
• Pull and operate various implements for farming and site works.
• Support transport and logistics tasks using tractors where required.
• Perform daily inspections, basic maintenance and timely defect reporting.
• Maintain accurate work logs, fuel records and implement usage reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 7-10 years' experience operating heavy tractors in large-scale farming or earthworks.
• Good knowledge of tractor implements, PTO systems and safe operating practices.
• Valid driving licence (an added advantage).
