Gerente de Engenharia e Planejamento – Infraestrutura Internacional (África Oriental)

About the role

The client is seeking an experienced Engineering and Planning Manager to lead a high‑profile international infrastructure project in East Africa, which includes the construction of an international airport and a major highway. The position is expatriate‑based in Tanzania and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Engineering, Planning, Project Control and Cost Management functions.
• Manage project schedule, resources, contracts, risks and performance indicators.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with deadlines, quality standards, budget limits and contractual obligations.
• Prepare and present management reports for the client and executive board.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience on large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in international projects, preferably in Africa.
• Hands‑on experience with EPC/EPC+F contracts and familiarity with FIDIC conditions.
• Fluent English and willingness to reside in Tanzania.
