Fuel Card Assistant – Back Office

About the role

The Fuel Card Assistant works in the back‑office supporting the First Card fuel‑card platform in Tanzania. The role ensures smooth operation of prepaid fuel cards, from loading and customization to reconciliation and customer‑service support.

Key responsibilities

• Reload prepaid fuel cards instantly when clients request fuel.
• Customize new and existing cards, amend ceilings, and update registrations.
• Maintain accurate filing, attaching receipts or account statements to each prepaid order.
• Seal customized cards in envelopes separate from PIN codes.
• Allocate package charges, validate extranet requests, and apply ad‑hoc customer charges.
• Reconcile client accounts and handle priority control (PC1) polling daily.
• Archive weekly meeting minutes in the shared file.

Required profile

• Integrity and strong work ethic.
• University degree in Business, Marketing or Administration.
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
