Finance Manager – Manufacturing & Diversified Sectors

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the financial operations of a diversified client operating in manufacturing, construction, real estate and hospitality in Mwanza. The role ensures robust financial controls, accurate reporting and supports strategic decision‑making across business units.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present timely financial statements, ensuring regulatory compliance and strong internal controls.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, develop cash‑flow forecasts, financial models and monitor budget adherence.
• Manage daily treasury activities, banking relationships and working‑capital requirements.
• Support production and operations teams with cost analysis, cost‑saving initiatives and project cost control.
• Coordinate tax matters (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax) and lead internal and external audits.
• Supervise and mentor finance officers and accountants, collaborating with heads of Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate and Hospitality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Mandatory CPA or ACCA qualification.
• 5‑7 years of progressive financial management experience in a diversified or manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with modern ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong knowledge of reporting standards and financial analysis.
