E-commerce & Key Account Manager – Tanzania

About the role

The role supports the strategic growth of the National Lottery in Tanzania by driving customer acquisition and engagement across e‑commerce channels (website and mobile app). It is responsible for increasing app downloads, expanding retail penetration through key accounts, and strengthening B2B partner relationships to generate sustainable revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth of the IPLS website and mobile app through acquisition, retention, and conversion initiatives.
• Develop and execute e‑commerce strategies to boost digital sales and player engagement.
• Increase mobile app downloads, registrations, activations and active usage while monitoring acquisition costs and lifetime value.
• Lead technology enhancements and new sales channel integrations in collaboration with ICT and vendors.
• Acquire, onboard and manage strategic key accounts, expanding retail footprint and performance.
• Identify, acquire and support B2B partners to broaden distribution channels and improve market reach.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare sales reports, forecasts and pipelines, and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in e‑commerce growth, digital customer acquisition and retention.
• Strong background in key account management and retail penetration within a B2C/B2B environment.
• Ability to analyse sales data, KPIs and market trends to drive performance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with partners and internal teams.
• Familiarity with the gaming or lottery sector is a plus.
