Design, Technical & Commercial Lead

About the role

Our interior design studio is seeking a senior professional to lead technical reviews, ensure commercial viability, and maintain high‑quality documentation across all interior design projects. This role blends architectural expertise with commercial insight to prevent costly mistakes before they reach the construction site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical reviews of design drawings prior to client submission.
• Check construction details, specifications, and documentation for technical accuracy.
• Coordinate technical inputs across design and project teams.
• Review supplier quotations, materials, and technical specifications.
• Support the preparation of commercial proposals, BOQs, and RFP responses.
• Ensure project documentation is complete, coordinated, and ready for execution.
• Provide technical guidance to the interior design team throughout project delivery.
• Maintain high standards of quality and construction documentation.

Required profile

• Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
• Extensive experience in architecture, construction, or project delivery.
• Strong understanding of construction documentation and detailing.
• Ability to interpret, review, and critique technical drawings.
• Excellent knowledge of construction materials and specifications.
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Ability to mentor technical teams and improve design quality.
• AutoCAD and/or Revit knowledge is an advantage.
