Demand Planner

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing building‑materials distribution company, is looking for a Demand Planner to develop accurate forecasts, maintain optimal inventory, and support the S&OP process.

Key responsibilities

• Develop accurate demand forecasts using historical sales data, market trends and business intelligence.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to ensure product availability while minimizing excess stock.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing and Finance to align demand and supply plans.
• Analyze forecast performance and recommend improvements to planning accuracy.
• Prepare demand planning, inventory and stock performance reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Statistics, Economics or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management or supply chain planning.
• Strong analytical, forecasting and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with demand planning software.
