Credit Analyst-1

About the role

Worldvision is seeking a Credit Analyst-1 to join its finance team in Tanzania. The role focuses on identifying, reporting, and mitigating credit risk across the organization’s micro‑finance and mortgage operations while supporting compliance and reporting requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and report current and emerging credit risk within VFT‑MFB, preparing monthly and quarterly credit reports by branch, product, and cycle.
• Review risk on new products and projects, track credit risk trends, and recommend mitigation measures to reduce loss and improve profitability.
• Prepare and compile mortgage documentation, ensuring all required paperwork is ready after loan approval.
• Assist in enhancing VFT‑MFB’s credit risk appetite and communicate risk‑management findings.
• Prepare BOT and CRB reports, act as the primary contact for Credit Info and BOT on credit‑report matters, and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Master’s or postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Risk Management; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Law, Accounting, or Risk Management is also acceptable.
• Very good oral and written English proficiency.
• Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Five years of experience in credit management is an advantage.
