Construction Estimator

About the role

Utopia is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join its project team focused on boutique hospitality assets. The role is fully remote and involves preparing accurate cost estimates, managing budgets, and supporting procurement and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of material, machinery, equipment and labour costs.
• Develop bills of quantities for construction activities.
• Prepare cost estimates and manage project budgets.
• Analyze project costs and produce regular financial reports.
• Support procurement processes, tender documentation and contract administration.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers, engineers, FF&E procurement team and client representatives.
• Focus on detailed cost estimation (AACE Class 3/2) for 80% of time and early‑stage estimation (AACE Class 5/4) for the remaining 20%.

Required profile

• Fluent English with excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Detail‑oriented, punctual and motivated to deliver accurate results.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Full‑time availability (up to 40 hours per week) in a remote setting.
