Chief Information Officer (CIO)

About the role

Egis is seeking a Chief Information Officer to define and drive the information system strategy, digital transformation agenda, and cybersecurity governance for a major airport. The CIO will ensure secure, robust, integrated, and future‑ready information systems that support operational excellence and business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the medium‑ and long‑term IT strategy and digital transformation roadmap aligned with airport business objectives.
• Establish and enforce IT governance frameworks, standards, and enterprise architecture across all systems.
• Develop and oversee the cybersecurity strategy, risk posture, compliance with aviation regulations, and data protection standards.
• Lead planning, approval, and prioritisation of IT investments to ensure strategic alignment and ROI.
• Ensure integration and interoperability of key airport systems such as AODB, CUPPS, FIDS, ERP, CMMS, and security platforms.
• Participate in risk assessments, disaster recovery planning, business continuity activities, and manage security incidents.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary IT teams in complex, mission‑critical environments.
• Strong leadership in defining IT strategy, digital transformation, and enterprise architecture.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance in the aviation sector.
• Ability to plan and prioritise technology investments with a focus on ROI and business impact.
