Cash Management Manager

About the role

NBC, Tanzania’s oldest bank, is looking for a Cash Management Manager to drive sustainable revenue growth by delivering innovative, client‑focused cash management solutions for corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales and revenue targets for cash management products.
• Deliver tailored cash management solutions that improve client efficiency and satisfaction.
• Drive cross‑selling and product utilization across the assigned corporate portfolio.
• Maintain a continuous pipeline of cash management prospects and convert new opportunities.
• Grow transaction volumes, balances and fee income from corporate clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact for cash management needs.
• Execute business unit strategy with clear, actionable plans aligned to targets.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless product delivery.
• Monitor sales performance, identify gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Prospect and onboard new corporate clients in target segments.
• Manage and grow client account balances (current accounts, deposits/FDRs).
• Ensure portfolio growth, retention and profitability through proactive engagement.
• Monitor service delivery and SLA performance, addressing gaps promptly.
• Conduct performance analysis to identify trends and risks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cash management, corporate banking or related financial services.
• Strong track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.
• Ability to build and deepen strategic relationships with corporate clients.
• Knowledge of risk management, regulatory compliance and internal controls.
• Analytical mindset to identify market opportunities and drive product innovation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across internal functions and external partners.
