Behavioral Health Coach (Remote, Tanzania)

About the role

Join Intellect’s telehealth platform as a Behavioral Health Coach, delivering 30‑minute video sessions to support clients’ mental health and personal growth. This freelance, remote position offers flexible business hours and can complement an existing practice.

Key responsibilities

• Provide 1‑on‑1 telehealth professional or mental health coaching for Intellect’s clients.
• Focus on sub‑clinical issues such as work stress, procrastination, work‑life balance, and relationship goals.
• Collaborate with the internal clinical team to suggest improvements to the program and platform.

Required profile

• Active International Coaching Federation (ICF) certification OR a Master/Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling.
• ICF coaches: minimum 200 coaching hours; counsellors: minimum 300 clinical hours post‑graduation.
• Proficiency in English and the local language; experience in EAP, adult counselling, or managerial coaching is a plus.

Required skills

• Coaching techniques and evidence‑based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, DBT, and Solution‑Focused Brief Therapy.
• Ability to set personal or career goals with clients.
• Strong communication skills for remote video sessions.
